Our fleet is equipped to fulfill the needs of the Kingston aviation community and beyond. Our Cessna 152s, 172Ms, 172Ns and 172XP appeal to both experienced pilots and students new to flying. We make it a priority to continually invest in our aircraft – all are equipped with state-of-the-art avionics and a custom-built interior. We have no conditional engines and boast low-time airframes.
The Cessna 172 is a four-seat, single-engine, fixed-wing aircraft. It is the most popular single-engine aircraft ever built, and a favourite amongst students and instructors due to its forgiving flying characteristics and responsiveness.
The engine is a Lycoming, engineered for aviation. Its inline, four-cylinder engine develops 160hp and drives a two-bladed, fixed pitch propeller.

Our fleet also includes one Cessna 172XP. It’s a terrific choice for more experienced pilots.
The 172XP2 is a more recent modification of the 172, with a 205 horsepower, fuel injected, 6-cylinder engine with a constant speed prop. WingX and STOL conversions allow for lower stall speeds and increased gross weight limits.
It features a highly advanced flight deck with the same capabilities as commercial airliners, and is IFR certified for both RNAV and ILS approaches.
The avionics suite includes:
Navigation: Garmin GNX 650 + WAAS enabled, coupled to dual axis auto-pilot
Safety: MVP50 digital engine monitoring system
Visualisation Tools: Aspen Pro 1000 primary flight display
Communication: Dual Nav / comms
Feedback: Remote mode S transponder
Arguably the finest XP available for training and for rent in Canada, the 172XP2 combines top-notch avionics technology with simplicity and versatility, for an unparalleled flying experience.
